About LactFlo™
LactFlo™ is a product licensing, installation, and software-management system provided by Nourished Young.
LactFlo™ includes software tools and services designed for licensed users, including LactFlo™ Tool Builder, LactFlo™ License Manager, and individual LactFlo™ tools installed in a user's own Google Workspace.
LactFlo™ Tool Builder allows licensed users to create authorized copies of LactFlo™ tools in their own Google Drive.
LactFlo™ License Manager allows users to review licenses associated with their purchase and, when eligible, update the Google account connected to an uninstalled license.
Individual LactFlo™ tools are designed to operate within the user's own Google Workspace and may use Google services to provide the functions of the specific tool.
Google Data We Access
LactFlo™ requests access to Google services only as needed to provide licensing, installation, software, and tool-management functions.
The specific Google services and permissions used may vary by LactFlo™ product.
Google Account Email
Your Google account email address may be used to identify the Google account using LactFlo™ and to verify that the account is associated with an active LactFlo™ license.
Depending on the LactFlo™ product, the Google account email may also be used to associate the installed tool with the licensed account.
Google Drive
LactFlo™ products may use Google Drive to create, store, read, or update files that are part of the licensed tool or installation process.
The specific Google Drive access requested depends on the LactFlo™ product and the functions it provides.
LactFlo™ Tool Builder uses Google Drive access to create a licensed copy of the selected LactFlo™ tool in the user's Google Drive.
Where the drive.file permission is used, it limits access to files created by the application or files that the user has specifically opened, selected, or authorized for use with the application.
LactFlo™ does not request general permission to browse, read, or manage all files in your Google Drive unless a specific LactFlo™ product requires a different permission for a documented function.
Google Picker
LactFlo™ Tool Builder uses Google Picker during installation to authorize the specific master tool needed to create your licensed copy.
Google Picker allows file access to be limited to the file involved in the installation process rather than providing LactFlo™ with broad access to your Google Drive.
Information We Receive
Nourished Young may receive and store limited account, license, product, installation, and software-management information needed to operate LactFlo™.
This may include:
- the email address used to purchase or register a license;
- the Google account email address associated with the license;
- the licensed product name and product identifier;
- license status;
- installation status and installation dates;
- the number of installations associated with a license;
- the installed software version;
- information needed to identify available software updates; and
- temporary account-recovery information used through LactFlo™ License Manager.
The information Nourished Young receives through the LactFlo™ licensing and installation system is separate from information that a user enters into an installed LactFlo™ tool for their own use.
LactFlo™ Tool Installation
When you use LactFlo™ Tool Builder, the application verifies your licensed access before creating a copy of the selected tool.
The Tool Builder may write limited product and installation information into the new copy, such as:
- the licensed Google account email address;
- the product identifier;
- the product name;
- the date the copy was created; and
- the installed software version.
This information is used to identify the licensed product and support future software-management functions.
Information in Your Tools
LactFlo™ tools are installed in the user's own Google Drive.
Information entered into a licensed LactFlo™ tool is stored within the user's own Google Workspace according to the design and intended function of that tool.
For example, Clinical Weight Helper allows licensed users to save client records and weight histories in their own Google Drive.
Nourished Young does not receive or store client records entered into Clinical Weight Helper as part of the tool's normal operation.
Information stored within an installed LactFlo™ tool is separate from the licensing, installation, and account-management information that Nourished Young receives through the LactFlo™ system.
Individual LactFlo™ products may have different data-handling functions. Where a tool collects information for licensing, access, support, analytics, or another product function, those practices will be described in the applicable tool's documentation or on its installation and permissions page.
License Manager
LactFlo™ License Manager allows users to look up LactFlo™ licenses using a purchase email address or licensed Google account.
When an active license has not yet been installed, the License Manager may allow the licensed Google account to be updated.
To authorize an account change, a temporary recovery code is sent to the purchase email associated with the license.
Recovery codes and related verification information are used only for license-management and account-recovery functions.
How We Use Information
Information received through LactFlo™ is used only for legitimate product and application functions, including:
- verifying licensed access;
- creating licensed copies of LactFlo™ tools;
- recording and managing installations;
- managing the Google account associated with a license;
- providing account recovery;
- providing product support;
- identifying the installed software version; and
- providing or identifying available software updates.
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, unrelated marketing, or other purposes unrelated to providing or improving LactFlo™ functionality.
Google user data received through LactFlo™ is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Sharing of Information
Nourished Young does not sell Google user data.
Nourished Young does not sell, rent, or provide Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of LactFlo™, its users, or Nourished Young systems.
Data Storage
Licensed LactFlo™ tools are created in the user's own Google Drive.
Information entered into those tools is stored within the user's own Google Workspace according to the function of the individual tool.
Limited licensing, installation, account-management, recovery, and software-maintenance information may be stored in Nourished Young systems for product access, support, licensing, and software administration.
Nourished Young does not use its licensing and installation systems as a repository for client records entered into Clinical Weight Helper.
Data Retention
Nourished Young retains licensing and product-management information only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer product access, maintain licensing and installation records, provide support, maintain the software, or meet applicable legal and business obligations.
Temporary recovery and verification codes are time-limited and are used only for account-recovery, verification, and license-management functions.
Information stored by a user inside an installed LactFlo™ tool remains subject to the user's own Google Workspace storage and retention settings.
Users may request deletion of personal information associated with LactFlo™ by contacting [email protected].
Some licensing, transaction, security, or administrative records may be retained where reasonably necessary to meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or contractual obligations.
Security
Nourished Young uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information received through LactFlo™ from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Data transmitted between users, Google services, and LactFlo™ is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit.
Access to administrative systems and stored licensing information is limited to authorized personnel and systems as needed to operate, support, and maintain LactFlo™.
Information stored within a user's Google Workspace is protected by the user's Google Workspace environment and account security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own Google account and Google Workspace environment.
Google API Services
LactFlo™ uses Google APIs only to provide the user-facing licensing, installation, software, and tool-management features described in this Privacy Policy.
LactFlo™ uses narrowly scoped Google Drive access where possible.
Where the drive.file scope is used, it allows the application to create new Drive files or access files that the user has specifically opened, selected, or authorized for use with the application rather than granting general access to the user's Drive.
LactFlo™ also uses Google Picker so that access can be limited to the specific file involved in the installation process.
Individual LactFlo™ products may request additional Google API permissions when those permissions are necessary for the functions of the product. Tool-specific permissions and their purposes are described on the applicable installation and permissions page.
LactFlo™'s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
Your Choices
You choose the Google account associated with your LactFlo™ license before installation.
Eligible license information may be reviewed or updated through LactFlo™ License Manager.
You may remove a licensed LactFlo™ tool from your Google Drive at any time.
You may also revoke previously granted Google permissions through your Google account settings.
You control the information you enter into your own installed LactFlo™ tools and may manage or delete that information within your Google Workspace according to the functions available in the individual tool.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if LactFlo™ changes the way it accesses, uses, stores, or shares information.
Material changes will be reflected on this page, and the updated date will be revised.
