Feed Better. Feel Better.®
Let's make latching feel better.
A live, interactive 2-week program that helps you uncover the root causes of your baby’s latching challenges — so you can feel more confident about feeding, even when it’s been hard for a long time.
You've done everything you've been told, but feeding still isn't getting easier.
You’ve gotten support, followed the advice, and given things more time,
but feeding still doesn't feel any better.
Maybe they’re popping on and off, clamping down, clicking, or ending up shallow no matter what you try — and it feels like you must be missing something, but no one can tell you what.
You’re not alone — and there’s a reason this has felt harder than it should.
You've done everything you've been told, but your latch still isn't getting better.
You’ve gotten support, followed the advice, and given things more time — but nothing is changing.
Maybe your baby is popping on and off, clamping down, clicking, or ending up shallow no matter what you try — and it feels like you must be missing something, but no one can tell you what.
You’re not alone — and there’s a reason this has felt harder than it should.
Most latching problems are hidden at the surface.
Maybe you’ve been told your baby’s latch “looks fine,” but feeding still doesn’t feel the way you think it should.
Even when you try the adjustments you’ve been shown, the latch still feels uncomfortable, unstable, or just off somehow.
When what you’re feeling doesn’t match what you’re being told, it’s easy to start doubting yourself.
Most support focuses on what’s visible from the outside — positioning, latch looks, and how well your baby is growing — but those don’t explain what’s happening inside the latch.
And that disconnect between what others see and what you feel can make every feeding stressful.
Your baby’s latch is shaped by reflexes and muscle coordination, not just technique. When those pieces aren’t working smoothly together, feeding can feel shallow, unstable, or uncomfortable, even when everything appears “fine.”
Once you understand what’s really driving the latch, everything finally starts to make sense.
Let Me Guess.....
You were told to stroke your nipple down your baby’s mouth, then squish your breast into a 'sandwich' to get as much of it in their mouth as possible.
Now, you’re struggling to get your baby to open wide at all. Instead of a deep, comfortable latch, your baby’s sucking or slurping your nipple into their mouth—and even if you get past the pain, you’re stuck in an awkward position for the entire feed.
And let’s be honest—the forceful method you were taught never really felt right, and none of this feels even close to natural, and you are starting to dread feeding your baby.
Here's the secret you need to know: there’s just one key detail that your missing, and it changes everything.
The method you've been using taught you to skip key reflexes.
Touching your baby’s lips with your nipple triggers their sucking reflex before they’ve been given the cue to open wide, and that turns the whole process into a struggle.
Imagine trying bite into a massive sandwich without opening your mouth first - awkward and messy, right?
Missing these key reflexes makes latching feel confusing and frustrating, leading to a painful, shallow latch. But what if you could tap into your baby’s natural instincts and quickly get the deep, comfortable latch you’ve been searching for, right away?
It doesn't have to stay this way.

Understanding what's happening behind the latch helps everything click.
Understanding the latch helps everything finally click.

I want to help you get a better latch — without shame, blame, or confusion.
You deserve support that feels clear, professional, and genuinely helpful — not the same frustrating advice repeated in a different way.
After years of helping families and teaching reflex-based latching to parents and professionals, I’ve seen how quickly things can change once you understand what your baby’s reflexes are telling you. I’ll help you understand what’s actually going on with your baby’s latch, why things feel hard, and how to make latching and feeding feel calmer and more predictable for both of you.
No matter how often you latch — every feed or only sometimes — I’m here to help feeding feel doable, grounded, and good for both of you.

Real Feedback from parents with struggles like yours.
" I had already seen four lactation consultants and a speech-language pathologist (all in person). Within 20 minutes, Avery taught me a different way to latch and gave me the first pain-free latch I experienced in 7.5 weeks. "
Julia Greenspan
" If you’re a mama prone to anxiety (who isn’t!?) then Avery is the person for you! She prioritizes mom’s well being and mental health alongside baby’s needs. Truly a no judgement, only support."
Rachel Biederman
"The info is so unique. I have never learned latching this way, and FINALLY it makes sense. The techniques worked on my child immediately. I was baffled that he finally opened his mouth wide for me after weeks of us not getting close to a proper latch."

Wondering About Something?
Here's a list of the questions I'm asked most often. And if you don't find your question here, just send me an email so we can make sure the Two-Week Turnaround is just right for you.
How is this different from everything else I've already tried?
Most latch advice focuses on what to do with your hands — angle your baby this way, tuck this arm, try this position, hold them like this. And when that doesn’t help, you’re often told to “keep practicing” or “just try a deeper latch,” without anyone ever explaining why the latch keeps slipping, clamping, hurting, or falling apart in the first place.
The Reflexive™ Turnaround approach is different.
Instead of trying to force a latch or memorize positions, we look at the sequence of reflexes underneath the latch — the tiny cues, movements, and patterns that tell us exactly where things are getting stuck and why it feels so hard.
Once you understand what your baby’s reflexes are doing (and what they’re trying to do), the latch finally makes sense.
And when it makes sense, things change quickly — because you’re no longer guessing. You’re reading your baby, responding to what you see, and using their natural reflexes to guide them into a deeper, more comfortable latch.
This isn’t about “trying harder” or “doing it right.”
It’s about finally understanding what’s actually happening so you can make small, meaningful adjustments that truly help.
What if I can’t make the live sessions?
You’ll still get so much out of this program — you won’t miss a thing.
All live sessions are recorded, and you’ll have access to every replay. You can also send in videos of your latch for personalized feedback, so you’ll still get guidance that’s specific to your baby and your situation.
And even if you can’t join live, you can ask questions anytime inside the private community. You’ll still get the support and clarity you need to make real progress.
What if my baby isn't a newborn?
That’s completely okay!
The Turnaround is for anyone dealing with latching challenges at any point in their feeding journey. If your baby is still latching — and things feel hard, unpredictable, or uncomfortable — this program can absolutely help.
You don’t need a newborn to make real progress. You just need the right approach and support.
I have flat nipples, elastic tissue, large breasts, flat chests or nipples that point south or use a nipple shield.
Bring your beautiful self on!
Babies have the same reflexes no matter what their parent’s anatomy is, and I have lots of tips and adjustments to help you get a better latch with your body — because feeding babies is for every body.
This is a body-positive, inclusive feeding space designed to help every parent feel supported and successful in their feeding relationship.
What if I just need help with my latch?
If you’re mainly looking for guidance with your latch — to make sure you’re supporting your baby’s reflexes and working with your body — the Reflexive™ Latching Tune-Up may be a better fit.
The Tune-Up is a 30-minute private latching session where we focus specifically on latch mechanics, comfort, and positioning, so you can make adjustments that feel doable and supportive right away.
If your challenges feel more complex, ongoing, or layered, the Turn-Around offers deeper support and a more structured approach — but if you just need help getting your latch on track, the Tune-Up is often the right place to start.

Transform Your Latch TodayLet Me Guess.....
You were told to stroke your nipple down your baby’s lips, squish your breast, and push it inside their mouth as soon as they open. Now, your baby won’t open wide, latching hurts, and you're stuck in an awkward position for every feed.
And let’s be honest—the method you were taught never felt quite right, did it? But there’s one key detail that’s been missing—and it changes everything.
The method you've been taught skips your baby's key reflexes.
Touching your baby’s lips with your nipple triggers their sucking reflex before they’ve had a chance to open wide.
You've been accidentally skipping over the cue that tells them to open wide.
It’s like trying to eat a massive sandwich without opening your mouth—awkward and messy, right? Missing this cue has made latching confusing and painful.
But when you tap into your baby’s natural instincts and give them that simple cue, you’ll get the deep, enjoyable and pain-free latch you’ve been searching for. And best of all? It happens right away.
